When a routine scientist pickup job goes sideways, the crew of the Bad Romance finds themselves holding a cargo they can't deliver, chased by people they can't outrun, and on the clock in ways they don't yet understand.
Triple overtime won't cover this.
Something Is Very Wrong on the Bad Romance
The Beta Stromgren system sits near the edge of what most people call civilization — close enough to Zeta Reticuli to feel like the frontier, far enough from the Terran Colonial Authority that law is more of a suggestion. It's the kind of place where private security forces can make the rules while biomedical research companies run shadow operations under the merciless light of a deadly red dwarf star.
NPCs Captain Marco Lopez and Pilot Janey Graybeal are joined by Hale Stidham, Chief Engineer of the Bad Romance and exoloader enthusiast; Dr. Elroy Ivers, a green medical school graduate who's never been off-world; and Johnny Utah, a repurposed "companion" android styled after a black-t-shirted, surfing FBI agent from an old Earth movie.
They've taken the one job desperate enough to clear the ship's debt — and dangerous enough to end them all.

Why?
Welcome to the first episode of Lagrange Point, our sci-fi campaign. We're venturing out into the black, following the crew of the long haul freighter, the MS Bad Romance, under the command of NPC Captain Marco Lopez, and piloted by NPC Janie Graybeal. We'll join Johnny Utah, the android, played by Adam, Chief Hale Stidham, the teamster, played by John, and Dr. Elroy Ivers, the scientist played by Nial as they take whatever jobs come their way to survive another day.
